ICC Latest T20 Rankings: The new ranking of T20 International has been released by ICC. Suryakumar Yadav of India continues to occupy the number one position, while Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan is no longer at number two. Meanwhile, the new opening batsman of the Indian team, Yashasvi Jaiswal has made a big splash, while Ruturaj Gaikwad has to suffer the loss. Overall, 3 Indian batsmen have been successful in making their place in the top 10.

Suryakumar Yadav number one in ICC T20 rankings

In the new T20 rankings released by ICC, India’s Suryakumar Yadav is at number one position with a rating of 869. He is currently not playing the three-match T20 series being played between India and Afghanistan, yet there does not seem to be any threat to his number one position. Phil Salt of England seems to be consolidating his position even further in second place. His rating has now reached 802. At third place is Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan, whose rating is 775. Once Rizwan used to be number one, but now he has come straight to third place.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam also got a jump of one place.

Meanwhile, if we talk about former Pakistan captain Babar Azam, he has reached fourth position with a jump of one place. He has scored back to back half-centuries in the first three matches of the five-match T20 series being played against New Zealand. Although the fifty of the third match would not have been added to his account yet, the ranking had come even before this match. His rating has now reached 763. Now he is becoming a challenge for himself as well as Mohammad Rizwan. With Babar Azam moving up one place, South Africa’s Aiden Markram has lost one place. He has come at number five with a rating of 755.

Yashasvi Jaiswal jumped 7 places, reached sixth position straight away.

Meanwhile, India’s new opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has done wonders. He has jumped seven places straight. After missing the first match against Afghanistan, when he got a chance in the second match, he scored a lot of runs and now he is seeing the benefit of this in the ranking. Jaiswal’s rating has now increased to 739. He has reached number six.

India’s Ruturaj Gaikwad suffered a loss

Many batsmen have suffered losses due to Yashasvi Jaiswal coming forward. South Africa’s Riley Rousseau has dropped one place to seventh place with a rating of 689. England’s Jos Buttler has also lost one place. He is at number eight with a rating of 680. India’s Ruturaj Gaikwad also had to drop one place. His rating is now 661 and he has slipped from eight to ninth position. South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks is at number ten with a rating of 660. That means a total of three batsmen from India have managed to make their place in the top 10 in this ranking.
