ICC T20 Rankings: Glenn Maxwell made a big blast, Suryakumar Yadav’s reign continues

ICC T20I Rankings: T20 World Cup 2024 is to be organized in West Indies and Zimbabwe in June this year. The schedule for this has been announced and the teams are busy preparing for it by facing each other. Meanwhile, a new ranking of T20 International has been released by ICC. In this, the reign of Indian team’s star batsman Suryakumar Yadav continues, but Australia’s Glenn Maxwell has taken a huge leap.

Suryakumar Yadav number one batsman in ICC T20 rankings

In the latest ICC T20 rankings, India’s Suryakumar Yadav remains at number one position with a rating of 861. Surya is so far ahead of the number two batsman and other players that at the moment there seems to be no one who can shake him from here. The closest to him is Phil Salt of England, who has a rating of 802. That means the difference is quite big. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, who was once the number one batsman in the ICC T20 rankings, has fallen down, but still he occupies the number three position with a rating of 800.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam is at fourth place, Yashasvi Jaiswal is at sixth place.

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam is at fourth position with a rating of 764. After this is Aiden Markram of South Africa with a rating of 755. India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is at number 6 with a rating of 714. New Zealand’s Finn Allen is at number 7 with a rating of 706. If we talk further, South Africa’s Riley Rousseau is at number eight with a rating of 689 and England’s Jos Buttler is at ninth place with a rating of 680. South Africa’s Reeza Hendricks is at the last position in the top 10, his rating is currently 660. If seen this way, there is no visible change in the top 10 after the last rating.

Glenn Maxwell jumped 11 places, Tim David also did wonders

Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell, one of Australia’s star players, has jumped 11 places. His rating has now increased to 574. He has now moved straight to 24th place. Maxwell got this bounce because of his previous innings. When he played a brilliant century in the T20 International match against West Indies. Maxwell had scored an unbeaten 120 runs in the second match of the three-match T20 series played against West Indies. However, he could score only 10 runs in the first match and 12 runs in the third. But thanks to an excellent innings, he has made a strong bounce. If we talk about Australia’s Tim David, he has also made a huge jump of 35 places. His rating has now increased to 565 and he has moved straight to 27th position.
