New record in the name of Akshar Patel
Axar Patel has become the 11th Indian bowler to complete 200 wickets in T20 cricket. Out of this, he has taken 49 wickets for India in T20 International in 52 matches. Akshar achieved this record during his game-changing spell. He got the big wicket of Gulbadin Naib, who was playing by scoring a half-century in the second T20 match against Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium.
Axar Patel was brought into the attack in the final over of the powerplay and he delivered a flighted delivery to captain Ibrahim Zadran which hit the top of the off-stump.
