IND vs AFG: Axar Patel won the title of Player of the Match in this special match, made a record

In the second match of the three-match T20 series between India and Afghanistan, Team India’s star player Akshar Patel made a special record in his name. Left-arm spinner Axar Patel has continued his excellent performance in the ongoing T20 series against Afghanistan. In the second match in Indore, he took 2 wickets for just 17 runs in his quota of 4 overs. He has 4 wickets to his name in this series. With this he has made a record in his name.

New record in the name of Akshar Patel

Axar Patel has become the 11th Indian bowler to complete 200 wickets in T20 cricket. Out of this, he has taken 49 wickets for India in T20 International in 52 matches. Akshar achieved this record during his game-changing spell. He got the big wicket of Gulbadin Naib, who was playing by scoring a half-century in the second T20 match against Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium.

Axar Patel was brought into the attack in the final over of the powerplay and he delivered a flighted delivery to captain Ibrahim Zadran which hit the top of the off-stump. Axar’s wicket put Afghanistan on the back foot. From here Gulbadin Naib of Afghanistan started batting fast and was taking the team to a strong score. Only then did Akshar dismiss him too and after this the Afghanistan team could not make a comeback.
