India vs England Test Series: Indian team won the fourth test match against England by 5 wickets. The bowlers and batsmen performed amazingly for Team India. On behalf of the Indian team, Dhruv Jurel performed strongly in both the innings. He received the Player of the Match award for his brilliant performance. After winning the fourth test match, the Indian team has taken a 3-1 lead in the series. But even after winning the match, Team India has registered a bad record. Let us know about it.

These three players together scored 47 runs

Big players like KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were not playing in the fourth test match against England. In his absence, Indian young players performed amazingly. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel showed threat with the bat. Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav presented excellent bowling examples. But the middle order batsmen could not perform well. India’s middle order batsmen (number-4, 5, 6) Rajat Patidar, Ravindra Jadeja and Sarfaraz Khan could not do well in the Ranchi Test match. These three players, playing in the middle order, scored only 47 runs in both the innings of the Ranchi Test match.

Lowest score in last 30 years

47 runs is the lowest score made by the middle order of the Indian team (number-4,5, 6) in any Test match in the last 30 years. Overall this is the eighth lowest score. Rajat Patidar, who came at number four, made his debut in the Test series against England. But he proved to be a terrible flop and it has become difficult to score runs from his bat. Patidar’s poor form continued in the fourth Test match as well and he scored 17 runs in the first innings, but could not even open his account in the second innings.

Sarfaraz and Jadeja also flopped in batting

Ravindra Jadeja, who scored a Test century in Rajkot, could score only 12 and four runs in Ranchi. Sarfaraz Khan, who scored half-centuries in both the innings of the debut Test match, scored 14 and 0 runs in the Ranchi Test match. While chasing the target of 192 runs, Team India at one time lost five wickets for 120 runs. But after this, Shubhman Gill and Dhruv Jurel batted brilliantly and led Team India to victory.
