Virat Kohli may return to Team India
Virat Kohli Comeback: A five-match Test series is being played between India and England. England won the first match of this series, while Team India won the second match of the series. This series is now equal to 1-1. The third match of the series is to be played in Rajkot from 15th February. Team India would like to take the lead in the series by winning this match. During the two matches played in the series, Team India missed any batsman the most and it was Virat Kohli.
There was a lack in the Indian batting line up without Virat Kohli. Virat had decided to opt out of the first two test matches of the series due to personal reasons. Many changes can be seen in the playing 11 of Team India in the third Test match against England. With the return of Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer may be dropped from the playing 11. Although there is still suspense regarding Virat Kohli’s play, Shreyas Iyer has been a complete flop in this series so far. Iyer has scored only 104 runs at an average of 26.00 in four innings of two matches played during this series. Some people are even saying that whether Virat Kohli comes back or not, Sarfaraz Khan should be given a chance in place of Iyer.
Suspense continues regarding Virat Kohli
After the second match of the series, questions began to arise among the fans whether Kohli would make himself available for the three Test matches against England. However, after the Visakhapatnam Test, Dravid gave such an answer to this question, which increased the suspense further. He said, “I think it is best to ask the selectors. I am sure they are the best people to give the answer before the team selection for the next three Tests. I am sure the selection will be done in the next few days. . We’ll join them and find out.” India will get a break of 10 days before the third match starting from February 15 in Rajkot. The BCCI selectors are likely to hold talks with Kohli before announcing the squad for the final three matches.
