India vs England 3rd Test Match: A five-Test series is being played between India and England. Two test matches of the series have been completed and the series is currently tied at 1-1. The England team won the first test match by 28 runs. After this, Team India made a strong comeback and won the second match by 106 runs. Now the third match between the two teams will be played on the ground of Rajkot from 15th February. Team India had a practice session before the match, but one star player did not participate in the practice session.
This player did not participate in the practice session
The Indian team took part in a practice session before the third test match against England. In the practice session, Sarfaraz Khan practiced fielding in the slip and gully areas while Dhruv Jurel practiced wicketkeeping. Whereas Shubman Gill, who scored a century in the second Test match against England, did not participate in the practice session. Gill suffered an injury to the finger on his right hand while fielding in the second Test in Visakhapatnam. He did not field during England’s second innings but his injury is not very serious.
Played so many test matches for India
Shubman Gill has played 22 Test matches for the Indian team so far and has scored 1201 runs, which includes three centuries. Apart from this, he has played 44 ODI matches and 14 T20 International matches for India. He has the ability to change the course of the match in just a few balls. Gill has scored 104 runs in the second innings of the second Test match against England.
KL Rahul is out
Indian team’s star batsman KL Rahul has been ruled out of the third test match. He is not completely fit. There is doubt over Ravindra Jadeja’s play. The selectors have shown Shreyas Iyer out of the remaining three Test matches against England. In such a situation, Safraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel may get a chance to debut in the third test match.
