Even though the opening pair of Rohit and Yashasvi have not been able to perform well in this Test series against England, but since 2023, both have been the third most successful opening pair in the Test format. Both have added 736 runs in 11 innings at an average of 66.9, in which century partnerships have also been seen twice. At the first place in this list is the pair of Usman Khawaja and David Warner, who have scored 838 runs in 22 innings at an average of 38.09 and have also made century partnerships twice.
