IND vs ENG: Sarfaraz Khan’s memorable debut, included in this special list of Sunil Gavaskar in the very first test – India TV Hindi

Sarfaraz Khan Debut Record: Sarfaraz Khan made his debut for Team India in the third match of the Test series being played between India and England. Sarfaraz Khan did not let this special opportunity slip away from him after years of hard work and long wait and in his debut match itself, he created history by playing two brilliant innings. Sarfaraz Khan’s debut is also special because he has made a record which only three Indian batsmen could make before. He has become the fourth batsman to do so. The name of great Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar is also included in this list.

Sarfaraz Khan’s special record

Sarfaraz Khan scored 50+ in both the innings of his debut match against England. He scored 62 runs in his first innings, while in the second innings he remained unbeaten after scoring 68 runs. This was a record for Sarfaraz Khan. Earlier for India, there were only three batsmen who had scored 50+ in both the innings of their Test debut match. Sarfaraz Khan has now joined this list. Fans were waiting for Sarfaraz’s debut for a long time and Sarfaraz proved his fans right in the debut match.

Team India has set a target of 557 runs in this match against England. Apart from Sarfaraz Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill played brilliant innings in this match. Yashasvi Jaiswal played an unbeaten inning of 214 runs in this match, while Shubman Gill scored 91 runs. Sarfaraz Khan performed his responsibilities very well in this match.
