Tom Hartley is still only 24 years old. He has taken a five-wicket haul only once in his career so far. Apart from this, taking 9 wickets for 193 runs has been his best performance. He has also played 2 ODI matches for England. He took 2 wickets in the first innings of the fifth test match against India.
The batsmen showed their strength
England’s batsmen could not perform well in the first innings. The entire England team was all out for 218 runs in front of the Indian bowlers. After this, the batsmen from the Indian team showed a brilliant game. Rohit Sharma scored 103 runs, Shubman Gill scored 110 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 57 runs.
