Great bowler Anil Kumble termed England’s bowling attack as too inexperienced for the opening Test against India starting in Hyderabad and said that the hosts will register an easy 4-1 win in the five-match series. In a conversation organized by Jio Cinema, Kumble said in response to PTI’s question that it will all depend on how Jack Leach leads the spin attack. Certainly the England team management has looked at the pitch and they believe it will turn. England have selected three spinners Jack Leach, Tom Hartley and Rehan Ahmed and sole fast bowler Mark Wood for the Hyderabad Test.
India can win the series 4-1
Kumble said that I cannot predict but I can definitely say that India will win the series. I think given the attitude of these two teams towards Test cricket, five Tests will definitely give results. He said that if there is no problem due to the weather, results will definitely be obtained in the five Tests. I see India registering four wins and England registering one win.
