IND vs NZ: Coach Rahul Dravid did this first thing while reaching Mumbai for the semi-final match

The first semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2023 will be played between India and New Zealand on 15 November. Team India reached Mumbai on 13 November after achieving a spectacular 160-run win in their last league match. The New Zealand team had already reached Mumbai. The Indian team has shown a great performance in the tournament so far, winning all its matches in the league stage. However, the pressure of this knockout match against New Zealand is going to be completely different. For this reason, when the Indian players decided to take rest after reaching Mumbai, coach Rahul Dravid along with his coaching staff went straight to Wankhede Stadium.

All eyes are also on the pitch for the semi-final match against New Zealand. After reaching Mumbai, coach Rahul Dravid reached Wankhede Stadium where he was also accompanied by bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and fielding coach T Dilip. All of them inspected the pitch on which the semi-final match is to be played. Let us tell you that the Indian team had played a match against Sri Lanka on the ground of Mumbai during the league stage, in this match a great performance of the bowlers along with the batsmen was seen. Team India won the match by 302 runs by restricting Sri Lanka’s innings to just 55 runs.

New Zealand team practiced vigorously

Understanding the importance of the semi-final match against India, the New Zealand team does not want to leave any stone unturned. The Kiwi team practiced extensively at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday, in which Rachin Ravindra spent the most time batting in the nets. Apart from him, Kiwi captain Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell also practiced batting on the nets. The New Zealand team had to face defeat by 4 wickets in the match against India during the league stage.
