Whereas for India, in this innings, Ashwin took 5 wickets, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each while Ravindra Jadeja also managed to take 1 wicket.
India became the first team to do so in Test after 112 years
Team India had to face defeat in the first match of this Test series. After this, the Indian team made a spectacular comeback in the series and won it 4-1. This is the first time in the history of Test cricket after 112 years that a team, after losing the first match of a 5-match series, managed to win the series 4-1. Earlier, this feat was achieved by England in the Test series against Australia in the year 1911-12.
