Now India has 29 medals, while Indian para athletes can win more medals.

India won two medals on the 10th day

India has won a total of two medals on the 10th day of the Paralympics. In which the first medal of the day was won by para athlete Simran Sharma by completing the race in 24.75 seconds in the final of the women’s 200 meter T12 event. She succeeded in winning the bronze medal. At the same time, the second medal of the day was won by Navdeep. He won the gold medal by performing brilliantly in the final of the F 41 category of javelin throw. He showed a strong game and threw 47.32 meters. Earlier he was given the silver medal of this event and the gold was won by Sayah Beit of the Republic of Iran. But then the Iranian para athlete was disqualified. Due to this, Navdeep of India got the gold medal. This was India’s 29th medal in Paralympics 2024.

The Chief de Mission had promised

Indian Paralympic Committee (PCI) vice-president Satya Prakash Sangwan had told India TV that we had won four medals in the 2016 Rio Games and 19 in Tokyo, but now we are expecting a record 25-plus medals in Paris. His inner feeling is expecting 28 medals for India. He is not only expecting, but is also confident of a record 28 medals including eight to ten gold medals in Paris. He had said that he hopes to make everyone proud by being in the T20 (top 20 teams in the medal table) in this Paralympics. According to Satya Prakash Sangwan, the Indian team is in 16th place with 7 gold medals, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals.

These three countries are in the top three

If we take a look at the medal tally after the 9th day of the Paralympic Games 2024, China is in first place. They have a total of 216 medals. Which includes 94 gold, 73 silver and 49 bronze. Great Britain is in second place. They have won 47 gold, 42 silver and 31 bronze medals. America is in third place with 102 medals. Which includes 36 gold, 41 silver and 25 bronze medals.
