The Indian team had a very good start in the match, which took the lead with a goal by Manisha Kalyan. However, Estonia leveled the score at 1-1 with Tamik’s goal. But Indumati, Khaka and Manisha made the score 4-1, which made it seem that the Indian team would win by a big margin. But the Indian defense performed brilliantly during the match and India registered a memorable victory.

Manisha Kalyan scored two goals

Manisha Kalyan performed brilliantly in the entire match. He gave a pass to Pyari Khaka, who passed it to Anju Tamang, penetrating the opposition defence. But Anju’s shot was stopped and Manisha took the ball and sent it into the goal. After taking the lead, India applied pressure. Tamik equalized after half an hour by scoring a precise cross. Chaoba Devi’s team tightened the noose in the second half and Indumati gave India the lead after an hour. Soumya Guguloth passed the pass to Anju who took it to Pyari Khaka. After this, Pyari gave the pass to Indumati and she scored the goal.

With the efforts of Anju and Pyari Khaka, the Indian team scored the third goal. Soumya passed the ball to Anju and Pyari ran away from the Estonian defenders and reached near the box with her left foot to put India ahead 3-1. Then after a few minutes Manisha scored her second goal on Sandhya Ranganathan’s cross to make the score 4-1. In this way India achieved a historic victory.
