Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi
The Indian team has to play the first match of the 2-match Test series against South Africa before the end of the year 2023. Rabada-Ngidi were bowling with full strength in practice
On 23 December, the South African team practiced in the morning at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, which also included Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi. During this time, according to the report of PTI, both these bowlers were bowling with full strength in the nets, in which their balls were being faced by former South African captain Dean Elgar, who was playing the last Test series of his career. For the African team, the practice of both the fast bowlers in this manner can be considered as a good news before the start of the series, because earlier there was a situation of suspense over their playing.
Hopefully all players will be available for selection
South African team’s head coach Shukri Conrad said in his statement after practice about these two fast bowlers that it would have been good if they had got a chance to play in domestic matches, but this is life. Everyone has to find some way. I am not worried that they will play against India without match practice. Rabada and Lungi are in the 15-member squad and are available for selection. We will take a decision regarding the selection tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will have all 15 players available for selection. This is the biggest series of this year for South Africa. India has made it the final frontier but we will try our best to ensure that they do not succeed.
