Yashasvi Jaiswal India vs England Test Series : At this young age, Yashasvi Jaiswal is creating records one after the other. Today’s century is really quite special for Yashasvi. That’s because this is his first Test century in India. Before this, his first century had come in West Indies. But today when the team needed him, he emerged as a big player. With this century, he has now been included in the special list of the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar, former batsman Vinod Kambli and former Team India coach Ravi Shastri.

Actually he is just 22 years old. Recently he celebrated his birthday on 28th December. That means there is still time for him to turn 23 years old. There have been only 4 players who have scored centuries for India in Test cricket at home and abroad before turning 23. Earlier there were only three, but now Jaiswal has also entered it. The first name that comes in this is Ravi Shastri. Who had scored Test centuries both at home and abroad even before he turned 23. The second name comes after Sachin Tendulkar and after that Vinod Kambli. Just think, Vinod Kambli played his first Test in the year 1993, after that his last Test match was in 1995. Since then, no Indian batsman had been able to achieve this feat, now in the year 2024, Yashasvi Jaiswal has made his entry in this special list.
Jaiswal scored 95 runs in the first test against England
Yashasvi Jaiswal had batted brilliantly in the first match of this series also, but when the Indian team lost and the weaknesses were more exposed. In that match, Yashasvi Jaiswal, while opening the innings, scored 80 runs on 74 balls. Jaiswal had 10 fours and 3 sixes in that innings. However, his bat did not work in the second innings and he returned to the pavilion after scoring only 15 runs. Now he has filled the gap which was left in the first innings of the first match, i.e. scoring a century.

The special thing about Jaiswal is that whenever he scores a century, he converts it into an even bigger innings. Earlier, when he made his Test debut against West Indies in July 2023, he not only completed a century but his innings also reached 171 runs. He also scored a half-century in the second match of the same series. Although he did not score many runs with his bat in the two-Test series against South Africa, he still scored decent runs. Now, the kind of form Jaiswal has shown, it should be expected that he continues to bat like this in the remaining series also, so that Team India can capture the series.
