MS Dhoni: A big news related to former Team India captain MS Dhoni has come to light. A defamation case has been filed against Dhoni in the Delhi High Court by his former business partner Mihir Diwakar and Diwakar’s wife Saumya Das. Let us tell you that recently Dhoni had accused his two old business partners of fraud. This whole matter is related to Rs 15 crore.
Defamation case filed against Dhoni
Diwakar and Das have sought a direction to restrain Dhoni and people acting on his behalf from making defamatory allegations against them in relation to the alleged 2017 breach of contract. This contract was signed between Dhoni’s Diwakar and Das’s company Arka Sports Management. In this petition, it has been alleged that Dhoni and people working on his behalf have made defamatory allegations against Diwakar and Das that they have defrauded Dhoni of about Rs 16 crore by not honoring the contract for setting up the cricket academy.

Earlier, Dhoni had accused his two old business partners of fraud. Dhoni had written in the complaint that he was supposed to get the contract to open a cricket academy, but it was not given to him and about Rs 16 crores were embezzled from him. A case has been filed in the lower court of Ranchi against two directors of sports management company Arka Sports. Dhoni’s representatives said they have filed a criminal case on behalf of the cricketer in a Ranchi court against Arka Sports directors Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das under sections 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code.
