In that match, Daniel Vettori and Muttiah Muralitharan took 10 wickets each. Now after 18 years, Nathan Lyon has taken 10 wicket hauls in a Test match on New Zealand soil.

Nathan Lyon has reached second position in terms of taking most wickets in the fourth innings of Test matches. He has left Rangana Herath behind. Lion has taken 119 wickets in the fourth innings of Test matches. Whereas Herath has taken 115 wickets. Shane Warne is at number one in terms of taking most wickets in the fourth innings of a Test match. He has taken 138 test wickets.
