India has now reached 27th position in the medal tally in Paris Paralympics 2024, in which India has now won 1 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals. India has so far won the highest number of 4 medals in shooting at Paris Paralympics, in which Avni Lekhara has succeeded in winning a gold medal. At the same time, Manish Narwal has succeeded in winning silver. At the same time, Rubina Francis and Mona Agarwal won bronze medals. Apart from this, Preeti Pal has succeeded in winning bronze medals in women’s 100m and 200m races in T35.
The number of medals is sure to increase further on the fifth day
The 5th day of Paris Paralympics is going to be very special for India in which the number of medals will increase further. In badminton, Suhas Yatiraj and Nitesh Kumar will play the gold medal match in men’s singles in different categories. Apart from this, Sumit Antil will be seen in action in the final in javelin. In archery, Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar will play the quarter-final match of the mixed compound event.
