PAK vs AUS: A three-match Test series is being played between Pakistan and Australia. The second match of this series is to be played from 26th December. In the first match of the series, Pakistan team had to face a crushing defeat. During this period, many shortcomings were seen in Pakistan’s bowling and at the same time the batsmen also disappointed the fans. Meanwhile, before the start of the second Test match, former England captain Michael Vaughan has given a suggestion to Pakistan bowler Shaheen Afridi.

Gave special suggestion to Shaheen

Michael Vaughan wants to see more effort from Shaheen Shah Afridi leading Pakistan’s fast bowling, who was not at his best in the opening match of the Test series against Australia. He said that the left arm fast bowler needs to bowl a little more fast. In the first Test against Australia in Perth, Shaheen took only 2 wickets for 172 runs in 45.2 overs. After which Pakistan had to lose the match by 360 runs. Vaughan also feels that if Pakistan does not fight with the ball, the poor performance in Perth could be repeated in the upcoming Tests in Melbourne and Sydney.

What did Vaughan say?

Vaughan said, “Do you want my honest answer on Pakistan’s performance against Australia in Perth?” They are a team that is almost going through a bit of a transition. This is the first Pakistani bowling attack that I have seen that does not have a bowler clocking more than 145 km/h. They usually come here with a little speed. There is skill in their bowling attack but, I am a little worried about Shaheen Shah Afridi. I think he lacks a little pace. Let us tell you that Shaheen Afridi’s bowling in this match is being discussed everywhere.

Batsmen performed poorly

Pakistan were all out for 271 in 101.5 overs of their first innings in Perth, where their run rate saw a sharp rise after captain Shan Masood came out to bat. But Pakistan’s batting collapsed in the second innings and they were out for only 89 runs and lost by 360 runs. Vaughan believes that it will be challenging and difficult for Pakistan batsmen to bat against Australia’s bowling attack at the MCG, which will host the Boxing Day Test from December 26-30.
