The first set went to a tie-breaker after the Italian pair played well. This is Matthew Ebden’s third Grand Slam title. He won the mixed doubles at the Australian Open in 2013 with his Slovak-Australian partner Jarmila Gajdossova and also won the men’s doubles at Wimbledon in 2022 with compatriot Max Purcell.
