Team India’s plan A and B for the playing eleven of the second test, with whom will the captain go?

India vs England: In the absence of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul, who will be included in the playing eleven of Team India and who will be left out, this is a big question. Although many new and young players have been included in the squad by BCCI, hence captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid have a lot of options, but the final decision will be taken only on February 2 at 9 am. Meanwhile, Team India can enter the field with one of two plans.

3 players entered Team India

BCCI has included Washington Sundar, Sarfaraz Khan and Saurabh Kumar in Team India in place of Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul. Out of these, Sarfaraz Khan and Saurabh Kumar have not played a single test yet. Yes, it is true that Sundar has experience. Rajat Patidar has also been given a place in the team as a replacement for Kohli. He is also yet to make his test debut. Now the question is what could be Option A? Rajat Patidar is associated with the team from Hyderabad itself. One plan could be to give place to Kuldeep Yadav as the third spinner along with R Ashwin and Akshar Patel. Rajat Patidar can come in place of KL Rahul. Due to this, there will be no need for any changes in the rest of the team.

This could be Team India’s plan B

If we talk about the second plan, this time Team India entered the field with four spinners. Also a fast bowler landed. As England did in the first match. If this plan is considered then Kuldeep Yadav can replace Mohammad Siraj. Whereas Sarfaraz Khan and Washington Sundar can be given a chance for the middle order. But Saurabh Kumar also cannot be underestimated. He is an all-rounder who competes with Ravindra Jadeja. He also bowls spin with his left hand. If like-to-like replacement is thought of then they can win.

How many players will get a chance to make test debut?

One thing is clearly visible from both these plans. Sarfaraz Khan and Rajat Patidar may not be able to play together in the playing eleven. This means that if one gets a chance to debut, the other may have to wait for some time. But it is almost certain that at least one player will get a chance to debut. Meanwhile, it also remains to be seen that when the team is announced for the third test, which players will be included in it.
