1. Annabel Sutherland
Australia’s Annabel Sutherland has been bought by Delhi Capitals team for a hefty price of Rs 2 crore. Sutherland had kept his brace price at Rs 40 lakh for the auction. Mumbai Indians team had also bid to buy Annabel, but in the end Delhi Capitals team has won.
2. Kashvi Gautam
India’s Kashvi Gautam was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 2 crore and has become the most expensive uncapped Indian player ever. Kashvi has made many records in the women’s circuit. She registered a hat-trick for Chandigarh against Arunachal Pradesh in an ODI match in the women’s domestic U19 tournament. He had kept his base price for the auction at Rs 10 lakh.
3. Vrinda Dinesh
Vrinda Dinesh has not made her debut for India yet. He had kept his base price for the auction at Rs 10 lakh. Vrinda plays cricket for Karnataka in domestic cricket. She is known for her explosive batting. His strike rate in domestic cricket has been more than 150. There was competition among all the teams to buy him. But UP Warriors team has included him in their camp for Rs 1.3 crore.
4. Shabnim Ismail
In the Women’s Premier League 2024 auction, South African bowler Shabnim Ismail had kept her brace priced at Rs 40 lakh, but there was a bidding war between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants to buy them. But in the end the victory went to Mumbai Indians. Mumbai has included Shabnim in its team for Rs 1 crore 20 lakh.
5. Phoebe Lichfield
Australia’s 20-year-old female player Phoebe Litchfield has been included in their team by Gujarat Giants for Rs 1 crore. Lichfield had kept the base price for the auction at Rs 30 lakh. There was a bidding war between the teams of Gujarat and UP Warriors to buy him. But in the end the Gujarat Giants team included him in their camp.
