Which also includes cancellation of any NOC they currently have. Due to this, it has become difficult for these players to play in IPL 2024.

A statement from the Afghanistan Cricket Board said the reason for these players not signing central contracts was due to playing in commercial leagues, which prioritized their personal interests over playing for Afghanistan, which is considered a national responsibility. . He had demanded to exclude himself from the central contract. Also sought consent to play in the franchise tournament. Now the Afghanistan Cricket Board has decided to take disciplinary action against these players.
The ECB statement further said that the board has taken this decision keeping in mind the national duty. It is about every player in Afghanistan upholding the rules of the ACB and prioritizing the interests of the country above their personal interests.
NOC will not be available
Mujeeb Ur Rahman was recently bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024 auction. He is currently in the BBL in Australia with the Melbourne Renegades. Whereas Naveen Ul Haq was retained by Lucknow Super Giants team. Fazalhaq Farooqui was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad. But now NOC will not be issued to the three players for the next two years.
