India vs England 3rd Test Rajkot Update : The third Test match between India and England is to be played in Rajkot from Thursday i.e. 15th February. From the first match till now, a lot of changes have been seen in the Indian team. Many players are injured and some have been rested. Since the first Test till now, many players of the team have moved from one place to another. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, who played in the first Test, are no longer there. Meanwhile, a strong player has joined the Indian team, who has played century innings in 3 out of the last 4.

Dev Dutt Padikkal reached Team India’s camp

Dev Dutt Padikkal, who was included in the Indian team, was playing Ranji Trophy till just a few days ago. There he performed brilliantly for his team Karnataka, for which he is getting the reward. Suddenly BCCI included him in the Test squad and now he is with the team. Devdutt Padikkal’s name had already been announced, but he could not reach, but now just a day before the match, he has joined his team and is also practicing.

Devdutt was playing Ranji Trophy

Devdutt Padikkal, playing for his team Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy match, scored 151 runs in the first innings and 36 runs in the second against Tamil Nadu. Earlier, when there was a match between England Lions and India A team, he scored 65 runs in the first innings and 21 runs in the second. Earlier, he had played a brilliant inning of 105 runs against the same England Lions. He also scored 103 runs against Goa in Ranji Trophy. If we look at it this way, he has scored centuries in three out of the last four and has one half-century to his name. These are included in all first-class matches.

Devdutt has debuted for India in T20.

It is difficult to say whether Devdutt Padikkal, who has made his T20 International debut for India, will get a chance to make his Test debut in the third match or not, but the way he is in touch and is continuously scoring runs, he will be included in the playing eleven. There would be no harm in including it. Meanwhile, Sarfaraz Khan, who has already joined the team, is also waiting for his turn. It is certain that one of these two will debut, but who it will be will be revealed on February 15 at 9 am, when captain Rohit Sharma will announce his playing eleven.
