Jasprit Bumrah
Indian team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah managed to play the most important role with the ball in the victory in the second Test match of the series against England. On the basis of his brilliant performance, Bumrah has now occupied the first position in the ICC Test bowling rankings. Bumrah had taken a total of 9 wickets in the Visakhapatnam Test match, in which he took 3 wickets in the first innings and 3 wickets in the second innings. Now regarding this brilliant performance of Jasprit Bumrah, former South African team captain AB de Villiers has also said a big thing while praising him.
Bumrah’s yorker is his biggest weapon
AB de Villiers said on his YouTube channel about Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling that he bowls very well and he is a great bowler. Taking 9 wickets at an average of 10.11 is not an easy task for any bowler in Test. Bumrah also got full support from the bowlers from the other end due to which he was successful in taking wickets. It is not an individual game and that is what I like most about the Indian bowling attack. Bumrah’s biggest weapon in his bowling is the yorker which he uses in all formats. Whenever I have played against him, I knew that the yorker is his main weapon and he takes a lot of wickets with it even in Tests.
Bumrah reached first place by defeating Ashwin
Talking about Test bowling rankings, Indian team’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was occupying the number-1 position for the last 11 months. Now Bumrah has removed him from this position on the basis of his excellent bowling performance in the Visakhapatnam Test match. Ashwin has now reached third place. Ashwin could not show much of his bowling magic in the first 2 Test matches against England, although everyone is expecting better performance from him in the remaining 3 Test matches of the series.
