Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double century

Yashasvi Jaiswal had scored a double century in the second innings of this match. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored unbeaten 214 runs in 236 balls in this innings. During this, Yashasvi Jaiswal hit 14 fours and 12 sixes. With this, he has also equaled the world record of hitting most sixes in an innings of a test match. Earlier in 1996, Wasim Akram had hit 12 sixes in a Test innings against Zimbabwe.

Sarfaraz Khan scored half-centuries in both innings

This was the first test match of Sarfaraz Khan. He showed an amazing performance in his debut match. Sarfaraz Khan scored 50+ in both the innings. He scored 62 runs in his first innings, while in the second innings he remained unbeaten after scoring 68 runs. This was a record for Sarfaraz Khan. Earlier for India, there were only three batsmen who had scored 50+ in both the innings of their Test debut match.

Dhruv Jurel also left his mark
