Israel Hamas War: The ship coming from Turkey to India was hijacked by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen. Houthi rebels have now released a video of this incident. Iran-backed Houthi rebels took control of this Japanese-owned ship with the help of helicopters. Houthi rebels landed on the ship and captured it by force of arms. An Israeli billionaire also has partial ownership rights of this ship. Now a member of the political bureau of the Houthi rebels has warned that their organization will continue carrying out these attacks until the end of Israel. He also claimed that the Houthis did not take this action at the behest of Iran.

Ali al-Kahoum, a member of the political bureau of the Houthi rebels, warned that his organization was using drones and ballistic missiles with a range of up to 2 thousand km. “We will not remain silent spectators to the Jewish aggression against the Palestinian people and the international and American calls in support of Jews,” Kahoum said. Another member of the Houthi political bureau, Muhammad al-Bukaiti, told Al-Jazeera that if the war in Gaza does not end, the Islamic revolutionary terrorist group has ‘many options’ to attack Israel.

Ready to face America also: Houthi

Bukaiti warned that if the Gaza war continued the conflict would expand. He further said that the Houthis were not acting on instructions from Iran, in which the group was asked to distract Israel and try to relieve some pressure on Gaza. The Houthi member said that they are ready to face America also. Hamoud al-Mushki said, ‘We are with the Palestinian people, and we will stand against the Jewish enemy as long as the Jewish enemy continues its crimes and continues killing the people of Palestine.’ Also on Monday, the Houthis also released footage of a cargo ship they had captured.

Where is the ship Galaxy Leader now?

Meanwhile, the owner of the Galaxy Leader ship said on Monday that the ship is now in the Hodeidah port area outside Yemen. “All communications with the ship subsequently ceased,” the company said. The company will not comment further on the political or geopolitical situation. Meanwhile, the US on Monday described the seizure of a cargo ship in the Red Sea as a violation of international law and demanded the immediate release of the ship and its crew.

Netanyahu had condemned the hijacking of the ship

It is noteworthy that Israel’s government said on Sunday that Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen hijacked a cargo ship in the Red Sea, putting a major global shipping route in danger. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office strongly condemned the act, without naming anyone. In the statement given by the PM, it was said that it was a ship owned by a British company and operated by a Japanese firm. It said none of the ship’s 25 crew members were Israeli.

Let us tell you that Yemen’s Houthi rebels have threatened to attack Israel since the war against the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas started in early October and have carried out unsuccessful missile attacks. They are believed to have targeted Israel. Sunday’s incident marks the first major increase in the threat posed by the Houthis against global maritime shipping since the latest conflict began.
