TTP’s fear is increasing
Parliament was informed by the Ministry about the increasing activities of TTP after the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Parliament was also informed about the inaction of the Taliban-led interim Afghan government against the banned group. The Home Ministry, in a written reply to a question, shared information about the regrouping and expansion of TTP’s activities during the 2022 peace talks, which has increased its terrorist activities.
Pakistan worried about increasing terrorism in Balochistan
The Home Ministry said, ‘TTP has significantly increased its activities and is trying to garner support from other extremist groups to strengthen its capabilities. Its activities are particularly concentrated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its traces are also visible in Balochistan. This organization is making efforts to activate its network in the country.
Terrorist attacks have increased in Pakistan in recent times.
In fact, in recent times terrorist activities have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. TTP organization, known as Pakistani Taliban, has created an atmosphere of terror in Pakistan by carrying out several suicide attacks. The re-organization of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in this region has increased the concern of the Pakistan government. Pakistan has many times held the Afghan government responsible in this matter. Pakistan has many times asked the Taliban government of Afghanistan not to support TTP on its soil.
