IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma belongs to Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. He passed 9th and 10th class with third division. At the same time, in class 12th, he had failed in all other subjects except Hindi. But he did not give up and passed the 12th examination. Manoj Kumar Sharma also did many small jobs due to poor financial condition of the house. He drove a tempo and at one point even slept with beggars.
Had achieved 121st rank
Apart from all this, he also worked in the library. But during this time he read stories of many famous writers. Due to which he was greatly inspired and he decided to do something big. After all this Manoj Kumar Sharma decided to participate in the UPSC examination. But he faced disappointment in many attempts. He had to face failure thrice. But in the fourth attempt he gave his all and secured 121st rank in the tough UPSC exam.
Wife is also an officer
While preparing for UPSC, Manoj Kumar Sharma met Shraddha Joshi, a resident of Uttarakhand. It was during this time that he fell in love. IPS Manoj’s wife Shraddha is an IRS officer. He greatly motivated Manoj Kumar Sharma and supported him. After which Manoj Kumar Sharma cleared the UPSC exam in the fourth attempt and became an IPS officer.
