Who can apply
To apply for these posts, it is necessary that the candidate has obtained a degree in Food Technology or Food Science from a recognized university. Along with this, he must know Marathi language. Talking about age limit, the age of the applicant should not be more than 43 years. Reserved category will get relaxation in age limit.
How will the selection be done?
Selection of candidates on these posts of Maharashtra Food Department will be done through computer based test and interview. The candidates who pass the first stage will be called for the second stage. The selection will be final only after crossing both the stages.
What are the fees and salary
To apply, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000. Whereas OBC, SC, ST and other reserved categories have to pay a fee of Rs 100. No fee is to be paid for PH category. If selected, salary is as per the post. The salary for the post of Food Supply Inspector ranges from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. Whereas the salary for the post of high level clerk ranges from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100.
