Action can be taken against these people under the Jharkhand Competitive Examination Act, 2023. Under this, action is taken as a measure to prevent and stop unfair means in recruitment. Here a false video of paper leak was also made viral.

Under this Act, if caught cheating in a competitive examination, there will be a punishment of one to three years. Apart from this, a fine of up to Rs 5 lakh may have to be paid. The punishment has been reduced, earlier there was a provision of punishment of seven years and five years, which was reduced to five years and three years.

Under the ambit of this Act, examination agencies, employees, their family members and relatives doing these things will also be punished. If caught for the first time, the student can be punished with imprisonment of up to one year and a fine of up to Rs 5 lakh, and if caught again, he can be punished with imprisonment of up to three years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.
what is the punishment
Generally, under the IT Act – 2000, there is a punishment of three years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh for spreading rumours. And if you do this again on social media, there is a punishment of five years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.
Those who leak the paper may have to pay ten years in jail and a fine of Rs 1 crore under Bill 2024. Candidates have been kept out of this law.
