Maharashtra State Police Department has announced recruitment for thousands of posts in the state. For which candidates can apply by visiting the official site mahapolice.gov.in. The process of applying is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this campaign till 31 March 2024.
This recruitment drive will fill a total of 17,471 vacancies of Police Constable in Maharashtra. Through the campaign, the posts of Police Constable, Police Constable Driver, Jail Constable, Armed Police Constable etc. are to be filled. Under the recruitment drive, 9595 posts are for police constables. Whereas 1686 posts are reserved for Police Constable Driver. At the same time, 1800 posts have been fixed for Jail Constable, 4349 Armed Police Constable and 41 posts for Police Constable Bandsman.

The applying candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 12) or its equivalent examination conducted by the Maharashtra Secondary and Higher Secondary Board.

The age of the candidates applying has been fixed between 18 to 28 years. Whereas reserved category candidates applying will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Candidates applying for this recruitment drive will have to pay the application fee. Candidates will have to pay Rs 450 as application fee. At the same time, the fee for reserved category candidates has been kept at Rs 350.

Candidates selected for the post of constable will be given a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.
