Which state has the highest number of unemployed graduates, what do the government figures say? Learn

Maximum Jobless Graduates In This State Of India: In response to a question asked in Parliament, the government has said that Ladakh has the highest number of jobless graduates in India between the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. The number of jobless graduates in this union territory increased by 16 percent this year compared to last year. Apart from Ladakh, the highest number of jobless graduates in the above mentioned years are in Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

According to TOI report, more questions were asked to the Labor Minister in this regard but he did not answer them. In response to a question, he said that according to the latest PLFS reports, the unemployment rate among graduate candidates whose age was more than 15 years remained as follows. He said that in the year 2021-22 and 2022-23 it will be 14.9 percent and 13.4 percent respectively. This shows that unemployment decreased last year.

The situation has become better than before

There is a marginal increase in the figures for 2022-23 but this makes it clear that the situation has become better than before. This has also happened in many states and union territories like Lakshadweep, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Goa, Manipur and Mizoram where the unemployment rate has decreased. In comparison to last year, educated unemployed have decreased by some percentage in the year 2023.

What is the condition of which state?

In Bihar their number has decreased from 20 percent to 16.6 percent. In Haryana it has decreased from 18.4 percent to 12.6 percent and in Karnataka it has decreased from 12.5 percent to 9.4 percent.

In UP this figure has improved a little but from 11.3 percent it has come down to 11 percent. There were 22.8 percent unemployed youth in J&K which has now reduced to 4.5 percent. Thus, the data shows that the unemployment rate has reduced compared to previous years.
