Senior Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is known for his strong acting. The actor is also active in politics. At the age of 73, Mithun Chakraborty was admitted to the hospital when his health suddenly deteriorated. Now his health has improved a lot and he has been discharged from the hospital. The actor has reacted to his health as soon as he came out of the hospital. He told why he had to go to the hospital. The actor also said that he has been punished for his mistake.
The actor himself told about the problem
Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on Saturday morning after showing symptoms of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. The actor was discharged from the hospital on Monday afternoon. After coming out of the hospital, the superstar said that he has no other problem except the habit of overeating. Chakraborty said, ‘I eat like a demon, that’s why I got punished. My advice to everyone is to control your diet. People who are diabetic should not have the misconception that eating sweets will not make any difference. Control your diet.
There will be full participation in the elections
The actor also clarified that his hospitalization will not stop him from campaigning for the BJP in West Bengal for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Chakraborty said, ‘Who will take care of the 42 Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal? I will. I will be actively associated with BJP. If asked, I will also go to other states for election campaign. I respect Prime Minister Narendra Modi very much. The time has come for BJP to reach its peak.
Mithun Chakraborty’s political career
Apart from being a successful multilingual film star, Chakraborty has had a political career. He became attracted towards the Naxalite movement during his college days in Kolkata. In the latter part of his career, he became close to the CPI-M leadership, especially the late Subhash Chakraborty, former West Bengal minister. However, later on the request of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he became a Rajya Sabha member of Trinamool Congress. After the names of prominent Trinamool leaders were dragged into the multi-crore chit fund scams in West Bengal, especially the Saradha Group and Rose Valley scams, he started distancing himself from the state’s ruling party. Ahead of the 2021 assembly elections, Chakraborty had joined the BJP at a mega rally in Kolkata in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
