During this, he talked about one of his habits and told that after making a commitment, he does not step back and due to this, he has had to face pain and suffering many times. A similar thing happened during the shooting of ’83’ also.

Pankaj Tripathi told, ‘There were fractures in the ribs. Couldn’t sleep the whole night. In the morning I came to know that I had to go to the set of ‘Mirzapur’ the next day. There was a scene from that rally, where Madhavi, Munna and I are on the stage. Did that scene and then went to another set, where the OTT platform was being shot. For this, went to Bandra and did a photoshoot at Taj Hotel. After this I was unable to control myself because of the pain. The pain was very severe even after taking painkillers. In such a situation I went to Lilavati Hospital. When X-ray was done, it was found that there were two fractures in the ribs. Doctors said that you should rest, there is no plaster for this. Healing will happen on its own, but it requires a lot of rest. The very next day I had a flight to London, where ’83’ was shooting. If that was the commitment then what would you have done? Everyone there knew so people took my shots first, as soon as the shot was over, I used to lie down on the bed kept nearby. The pain subsided within five-six days, but healing took much longer.

Along with this, the actor said that he will no longer make such commitments in which he will have to suffer. He also said that it has happened many times that due to commitments he had to do some roles. Despite illness and pain, he chose to work. He also explained the reason for this and said that 200-250 people are involved in making a film and if the commitment is not fulfilled, everyone’s work gets affected.
