The powerful trailer of Alia Bhatt’s web series ‘Pochar’ has been released today. It is created by Emmy-award winning filmmaker Richie Mehta. Poacher is produced by Oscar-winning production and finance company QC Entertainment, which has produced hits like Jordan Peele’s ‘Get Out’ and Spike Lee’s ‘BlacKkKlansman’. Actress Alia Bhatt is the executive producer of the series. Based on true events, the crime drama Poacher exposes the largest ivory poaching ring in Indian history.

The crime series is primarily in Malayalam, Hindi and English and will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on February 23 in India and over 240 countries and territories around the world. It will also be available in English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi and will have subtitles in over 35 languages. The trailer provides a glimpse into the heart-wrenching reality of the brutal and ongoing killing of elephants. It follows a diverse group of wildlife protectors including forest crime fighters, police personnel and good philanthropists in their relentless quest to expose the largest ivory poaching gang in Indian history.
