India TV Poll: Are the demands of the agitating farmers just before the Lok Sabha elections justified – India TV Hindi

India TV Poll: The farmers’ movement has started just before the Lok Sabha elections. Farmers have once again reached the borders of the capital in preparation to surround Delhi to put pressure on the Center for their demands including legal guarantee on minimum support price for crops and loan waiver. They are also clashing with the police. Vehicular movement is closed on two major borders between Delhi and Haryana. While anti-riot security personnel have been deployed at important places in the national capital. Two borders with Haryana – Tikri and Singhu – remain closed while movement at the Ghazipur border with Uttar Pradesh has been allowed under the supervision of security personnel. At Tikri and Singhu borders, Delhi Police has made multi-layered arrangements to prevent farmers from entering the capital, installing barriers, barbed wires and concrete blocks. Now on this issue, India TV took the pulse of the public through its poll, on which shocking answers were received.

The demands of the agitating farmers are not justified

In our poll we had asked the public, ‘Are the demands of the farmers agitating just before the Lok Sabha elections are justified?’ For this, we had given three options to the public – ‘Yes’, ‘No’ and ‘Can’t say’. The public participated enthusiastically in this poll. We got a chance to know the opinion of a total of 10365 people. Most people were of the opinion that the demands of the farmers who were agitating just before the Lok Sabha elections were not justified.

How was the result of the poll in statistics?

Talking about the figures, a total of 10365 people took part in this voting. Most of them, i.e. 87 percent, believed that the demands of the farmers who were agitating just before the Lok Sabha elections were not justified. At the same time, about 10 percent people believed that this decision is right while 3 percent people chose the option of saying no.
