New Delhi: Sanjay Dutt is one of the most popular actors of Bollywood. He is also the only star to have seen many ups and downs in his personal life. As soon as Sanjay Dutt’s name comes up, all the incidents related to his life start coming to mind. He had to go through a difficult period when he had to spend his nights in jail. Now a former IPS officer has revealed how Sanjay Dutt was spending his days behind bars.
Didn’t get special treatment
When Sanjay Dutt had to cross the bars, former IPS officer Meeran Chadha Borwankar was the Additional Director General of Police (Prisons). On Cyrus Broacha’s podcast, he refuted claims that the actor received special treatment in prison. He also said that Dutt was treated well in jail. He said, “He was generally good because his parole was dependent on his behavior in jail. If he had not behaved, we would not have allowed him parole. He also worked, bought beedis and cigarettes. “Overall, he realized he was better behaved here.”
Was worried about his encounter
Borwankar writes in his book about the time when Dutt was about to be transferred from Arthur Road Jail to Yerwada Jail in Pune and he was worried about being killed in an encounter. He wrote, “Dutt was afraid that he would be killed in an encounter on the way! His fear was so real that he started sweating and complained of fever. The transfer was canceled after the news leaked. Later Dutt was transferred to jail after being advised about his misconception about an encounter.”

Talking about the work front, he was recently seen in the Tamil film ‘Leo’. He will next be seen in Telugu film ‘Double Smart’, Punjabi film ‘Sheran Di Koum’ and Kannada film ‘KD – The Devil’.
