BharatPe’s co-founder and former MD Ashneer Grover’s name came into limelight the most when people saw him as a judge on Sony TV’s reality show ‘Shark Tank India 1’. Ashneer Grover was not seen in two seasons of this show. An FIR was registered against Ashneer Grover in May this year. Ashneer posts many of his problems on social media. Meanwhile, Ashneer Grover and his wife were stopped at Delhi Airport today. Ashneer Grover himself has posted this information on his blog.
Look out notice against Ashneer Grover
Ashneer Grover told in this post that today he and his wife were stopped at Delhi Airport. Actually, Ashneer was leaving for New York today with his wife. He had reached Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. He and his wife were stopped by Delhi Police at the airport. This decision has been taken by EOW on the basis of Lookout Circular (LOC) issued to both. Let us tell you that on the request of the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police, a look out notice was issued against Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain.

Earlier in the month of June, EOW had filed an FIR against the family of Ashneer Grover on charges of misappropriation of money and embezzlement of Rs 81 crore to Resilient Innovations Private Limited, which runs BharatPe. The names of Deepak Gupta, Suresh Jain and Swetank Jain were also included in this FIR. Ashneer Grover has made a long post related to this matter on his Twitter (now X) account.
Ashneer Grover told the truth
In this he wrote, ‘Hello! Hello!… What’s going on in India? Ashneer Grover was stopped at the airport, this is what is going on, along with this he also told in this post that since the FIR was registered in the month of May, I have not received any summons from EOW at 8 am today. He further wrote, ‘I was going to America from 16-23 November, at the immigration at the airport I was told that LOC is in place sir, let’s check with EOW and talk to them. I found this strange because after the FIR was registered in May, I had traveled internationally four times.
