What was Mansoor’s statement

Mansoor, who is famous for playing villain roles in Tamil films of the 90s, had said that he was sad to know that he did not have any scenes to do with Trisha Krishnan in the film ‘Leo’. He said that initially, he thought that he would have a bedroom scene with Trisha where he could create a rape scene with her. Following Mansoor’s comments, the actress wrote a note on Instagram, saying that she will make sure she never has to work with Mansoor in her life.

Police had registered a case against Mansoor

After this, Tamil Nadu Police took action and registered a case against Mansoor for making derogatory remarks. The report said that as per the directions of the National Commission for Women, the Thousand Lights all-women police booked Mansoor under sections 354A (sexual harassment) and 509 (outraging the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
