This series starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi was released on January 19. It has been gaining momentum since its release.
The series got 14.8 million views
According to a trade source, this series marks Rohit Shetty’s entry into OTT. The series received 6.9 million views within a week of its release, setting the stage for a grand second season. An additional 7.9 million views occurred during the second week, bringing viewership to 14.8 million views within two weeks.
Rohit Shetty’s masterstroke
The decision to keep this world separate from the cinematic universe of the director of ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ proved to be a masterstroke, helping the series create its own unique identity.
The series transcended the boundaries of traditional police action dramas into the OTT space. It combined exciting visuals with detailed storytelling. The changes in the story as well as the promise of answering questions kept the audience glued to their screens.
