Asthma patients should take special care of these things in winter, otherwise an attack may occur at night!

3. Wash sheets once a week: Along with cleaning the house, cleaning the sheets is also important. To avoid asthma attacks, make a habit of washing bed sheets every week. Even if you don’t have asthma, wash bedsheets and pillow covers every week. To wash them, use hot water instead of cold water.

4. Avoid sleeping in the same room with pets: Doctors say that if you have any pets, keep them away from your bedroom, even if you bathe and wash them. Because they roam around the whole house or outside and bring different types of dirt stuck to their body and feet.

5. Keep your head elevated while sleeping: According to experts, if you are suffering from sinus infection then never lie down in a straight position, as this can increase postnasal drip, which can cause asthma attack. While sleeping, keep your head slightly elevated with a soft pillow.

6. Avoid using air freshener or strong perfume while sleeping: For people who have asthma, things with strong fragrance like perfume or any air freshener can create the risk of asthma attack. Aerosol sprays, wall plug-ins and scented candles can also trigger asthma.
