Indians like tea very much. You can call it morning drink. Because here the day starts with a good tea. Most of us start our day with tea. But there are some people who keep drinking tea the whole day. Some people drink 4-5 cups of tea in a day while some people drink even more than this.

Does drinking tea increase weight? 

The way we Indians drink tea, by adding lots of milk and china-tea leaves. In this situation, drinking tea increases weight. The amount of calories in refined sugar is very high. Nowadays there are many types of milk in the market. Like low-fat milk, toned milk, pasteurized milk etc. 

The milk we use nowadays has minimal nutrients but has a lot of fat. If we eat high fat milk then both fat and weight in the body increases. If a person is drinking 2-3 cups of tea daily, his weight will increase. 

Should one not drink tea?

Drinking tea There is no problem but one should drink it in limited quantity only. This has a very dangerous effect on weight. Always maintain a healthy body weight.
