This can cause us problems like sleeplessness, irritability, headache and increased heartbeat.
  • Second, green tea also contains tannins which can reduce the absorption of iron. This means that if we drink too much green tea with food or immediately after food, our body is not able to get the iron from food properly. This can cause blood deficiency or anemia.
  • Third, drinking too much green tea can cause problems like stomach ache and indigestion. Because green tea can increase acidity, which can cause stomach irritation.
