A strange incident has come to light from ‘Burdwan Medical College & Hospital’ (BMCH) of West Bengal. According to media reports, the doctor there had conducted an 18-week premature delivery of a woman due to her poor health condition. In which twin babies were born dead. Now after 125 days, the same woman has again given birth to twin children. As soon as this news came out, the woman and the twin child were being discussed loudly everywhere. According to the report, the woman has given birth to twins for the second time on November 14, who are absolutely fine.

Then in the month of March, she conceived after the second attempt in the ‘IVF’ center of Kolkata. But in the 18th week, due to physical problems and stomach pain, he was admitted to BMCS on 11 July. There, initial investigation of the woman revealed that the heartbeat of one of the twins was missing and the mother’s cervical canal had opened. Due to which the doctor, without wasting any time, got the first twin delivered prematurely. So that the second twin growing in the stomach can remain safe.
Special care was taken of the woman
The gynecologist of the same hospital says that this pregnancy was very important for the woman. Because of which we decided to keep her in the hospital till the birth of her second twin so that no accident happens. The woman was kept under special observation in the hospital. The doctors of the hospital said that this is a very rare case. It is no less than an achievement for us.
Ranjit Chakraborty, chief gynecologist at Woodlands Hospital, said, ‘Once one of the twins comes out of the uterus, the cervical canal opens. Due to which the chances of the second twin coming out increases. The birth of the second twin 125 days after the birth of the first twin is definitely surprising. The previous world record between twins was 90 days.
