New Delhi: The year 2023 has been no less than a golden year for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). This year ISRO did what the whole world was waiting for. With the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, India became the first country to land on the south pole of the Moon. It became the fourth country to make a soft landing on the lunar surface. Before India, only America, China and Russia had been able to make a soft landing on the lunar surface, but no one had yet landed on its southern part. Let us tell you that Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14, 2023. After this, Chandrayaan-3 took 42 days in its journey. The lander module Vikram of this vehicle successfully made a soft landing on the surface near the south pole of the Moon on August 23, 2023, around 06:04 pm Indian time.
