New Delhi: Prashant Kishor, one of the most talked about faces of Bihar politics, came this time to India TV’s famous show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. During this, he openly answered the questions of India TV Editor in Chief and Chairman Rajat Sharma.
Prashant Kishore said this regarding EVM
Prashant Kishor denied any possibility of manipulation of electronic voting machines. However, he suggested that the Election Commission should digitally upload Forms 19 and 20 from each polling station on its website.
He said that I do not comment on subjects in which I have no expertise. That’s gossip. I don’t think that in EVM, if we remove the technical issues, then operationally it is on such a large scale, there are 10 lakh booths in the country, including those states which have non-BJP governments, such a big system, so many people, you can ‘Constantly manipulate’ and that thing will not come out. The possibility of this is very less.
Gave statement regarding Congress also
He said that till now it is not the case that in the survey we are finding that Congress is getting 40 percent and the results are getting 20 percent, then it can be thought about. But in the common scientific surveys, whether right or wrong, it is not being told anywhere that Congress or India has a huge lead.
He said that I am talking about taking all the surveys together, you just take their average, in the last 10 years’ surveys, absolutely opposite results have not come anywhere, if they have come then they have gone against BJP only. I don’t think this (rigging) is possible, even if it is possible, once it happens, what is the alternative, you are not able to create a movement even on that. This will not be achieved by coming to the media and speaking or making statements.
What did PK write to the Election Commission?
Prashant Kishore said that 2-3 things must be done for improvement in this. I have written to the Election Commission. Upload Form 19 which is filled at every booth and which everyone signs before the EVM is sealed. Don’t know why this form is not being uploaded. The form is uploaded after 20 counting. If both Form 19 and 20 are uploaded then the whole dispute will end to some extent.
