Rohtak Lok Sabha seat is currently in BJP’s account. Presently Arvind Sharma is the MP from here. In the year 2019, he hoisted the BJP flag for the first time by defeating Deependra Hooda of Congress. BJP had got more than 47 percent votes here. Arvind Sharma had received a total of 573,845 votes.
Rohtak is the stronghold of Bhupendra Hooda
Rohtak district of Haryana is the stronghold of former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda. This seat is considered Jat dominated. Before the year 2019, Rohtak seat was in the account of Congress. Deependra Hooda and Bhupendra Hooda have been elected Lok Sabha MPs from this seat.
