Where are the workers trapped in the tunnel from?
Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue: The excavation that has been going on for the last 17 days in the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi has now been completed and the process of evacuating the workers will be started any time. In such a situation, the biggest question is that how did the workers get trapped inside the tunnel and where are all these workers from. According to the information, even on November 12, workers were working in the tunnel as usual. Suddenly a landslide started at 5:30 am on 12th and during this time many workers came out, but in the meantime suddenly 60 meter part of the tunnel under construction caved in and 41 workers were trapped inside the tunnel.
Let us tell you that these workers had gone inside from one end of the Silkyara tunnel. A 2340 meter portion of the tunnel in which they were trapped has been prepared and after a landslide in this portion, mountain debris fell at a distance of 200 meters. This debris had fallen in a length of about 60 meters, due to which these workers have an area of ​​two kilometers to move behind.
Sweets were distributed at the residence of Rajendra Bedia, one of the workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. The operation to rescue 41 workers trapped inside the tunnel since November 12 is expected to end soon.
